We will return to school where we will put away our equipment and proceed to the softball park behind the schools. Approximately 12:30, we will eat pizza (or your sack lunch) at the park and celebrate the end of a great marching season. You may bring balls, etc. to play with. We will leave the park around 2:00 and return to the school around 2:30 PM.
WHAT TO WEAR:
Uniform for the next parades is BLACK PANTS! Gray or black shoes and socks and the SCMS Band/Color Guard T-shirt. You may wear a long sleeve shirt (or two,) that is white underneath for warmth. Remember, shirts must be tucked in. Please look your best—your appearance makes a huge difference and we are judged on it.
EQUIPMENT AND INSTRUMENTS:
All students are responsible for bringing their own instruments and equipment to the parades. (This includes percussion, color guard, and school-owned instruments). We will leave cases on the busses or at school. Please consider the safety of your instrument!
GRADING:
These parades will count 100 Points each toward your performance grade. Points may be deducted for playing out of turn, being late and/or doing anything that would be a bad representation on the band or SCMS--remember, you are representing Snow Canyon and your best is expected. When boarding the buses, be sure to check in with the parent volunteer with the blue clipboards, to get credit.
